April 2026 was Prosthetic Promises' 14th trip to Zambia. 131 patients in total were seen - 93 prosthetic, orthotic, and physical therapy patients (26 of them received new devices) and 38 ocular prosthetic patients (33 of them received new prosthetic eyes).

In addition to the overwhelming number of patients served, we were unable to provide prosthetic legs to many patients. These patients completed an application for PPIHN assistance to be seen by our partner organization in Zambia. In the coming months, we will be working with this partner organization to provide the necessary materials for these patients to receive a prosthetic limb without needing to pay. ​ ​​
