ZAMBIA
We have completed 13 trips to-date:
2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, Spring 2018, Fall 2018, Spring 2019, Fall 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and May 2025.
The team continues to collect donations for each trip, including equipment and supplies.
Prosthetic Promises is blessed to have a partnership with New Day Orphanage in Mapanza, Zambia, which is where the PPIHN Clinic is located. Mapanza is located about 260km north of Livingstone, Zambia.

2017
60 patients were provided prostheses & ocular prostheses in 2017.
2023
60 patients were seen in 2023 - 50 patients for prosthetics & orthotics and 10 patients for ocular prosthetics.
2014
19 patients were provided prostheses & ocular prostheses in 2014.
2018
This was the first time our organization was able to make two trips in a calendar year.
2024
April 2024 was Prosthetic Promises' 12th trip to Zambia and the most patients seen in one trip.
2022
Prosthetic Promises' first trip back to Zambia after Covid. 41 patients were seen for prosthetics and orthotics.
